2012-2013 Events
The Iowa College Recruiting Network (ICoRN) will host the following recruiting events during the 2012-2013 academic year. To participate, students go to the Students web page and employers go to Employer Event Registration.
Accounting Interview Day
Friday, September 28th, 2012 8:30 - 4:30 [directions and map]
Vogel Library, Wartburg College, Waverly , Iowa
- The Accounting Interview Day is a pre-selected event.
- In July and August, employers post their jobs and internships in our online system.
- For two weeks in September, students submit resumes and other documents to the employers and positions of interest.
- In mid-September, employers review submitted application materials and select up to 13 students (and alternates) whom they want to interview at the Accounting Interview Day.
- Job posting, resume submission, pre-selection, and interview sign-up are all managed online via ICoRN CareerLink (Symplicity).
- On September 28, all pre-selected students and employers drive to Waverly and meet in private rooms for a 30 to 45 minute, in-person interview.
Spring Interview Day

- In December and January, employers post their jobs and internships in our online system.
- For two weeks, students submit resumes and other documents to the employers and positions of interest.
- In mid-February, employers review submitted application materials and select up to 13 students (and alternates) whom they want to interview at the Spring Interview Day.

- On February 22, all pre-selected students and employers drive to West Des Moines and meet for a 30 to 45 minute, in-person interview.
Health and Nonprofit Career Connection
Monday, April 1 - Tuesday, April 23, 2013
- This online event is designed to showcase a wide range of health care career postings (including nursing, allied professions, consulting, information technology, operations, marketing, finance, and others) and nonprofit positions (i.e., human services, education, arts, the environment, etc.).
- Offering a highly publicized online event within a specific timeframe increases student traffic, while allowing organizations easy access to students.
- An online event saves time and resources for organizations and students.
